The rise in memory prices has impacted smartphone sales, leading to a decline in panel shipments. As a result, the global demand forecast for organic light-emitting diode (OLED) emissive materials has been revised downward this year. Market research firm UBI Research recently stated that it has lowered its forecast for global OLED panel manufacturers' purchases of emissive materials this year to $2.54 billion, a 12.8% decrease from the first quarter's forecast of $2.91 billion.
