Come June 2026, WeChat will forge partnerships with prominent smartphone manufacturers, including Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo, to usher in A2A (Agent-to-Agent) assistant functionalities. This integration will empower users to effortlessly initiate WeChat audio and video calls or dispatch messages via their smartphone's built-in voice assistant. Presently, select models such as the Honor Magic8 series, 500 series, and the complete X70 series are compatible with this feature. However, users are required to ensure that both the Honor YOYO smart assistant and WeChat are updated to their designated versions to fully leverage this capability.
