On June 4, 2026, news emerged that WeChat is joining forces with leading mobile phone manufacturers, including Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo, to roll out A2A (Agent-to-Agent) assistant functionalities. This innovative integration allows users to effortlessly initiate WeChat audio and video calls or dispatch messages to their contacts using their mobile phone's voice assistant. Presently, a selection of models, such as the Honor Magic8 series, 500 series, and the comprehensive X70 series, are at the forefront of embracing this cutting-edge feature.

To leverage this capability, users are merely required to upgrade the YOYO intelligent agent to version 90.10.30.063 or a subsequent iteration, along with updating WeChat to version 8.0.72 or a newer version. Once updated, they can seamlessly activate YOYO voice commands, enabling them to send WeChat messages or place WeChat voice and video calls through simple voice instructions. Furthermore, manufacturers like Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo are diligently refining this feature, with ongoing testing and a widespread rollout anticipated in the near future.
