On the morning of June 2nd, a sizable unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) soared into the skies from Chengdu Huaizhou Airport. It navigated through bustling airspace and, after a two-hour journey, smoothly descended at Aba Hongyuan Airport, perched at an elevation of 3,535 meters. This historic test flight signifies Chengdu's low-altitude economic sector transitioning from a phase of "segregated airspace operations" to a pioneering era of "integrated operations." In this new phase, UAVs are poised to coexist and operate safely alongside civil aviation aircraft within the same airspace in the foreseeable future.
