Following this, he will shift to the position of executive chairman and cease to give keynote speeches. On September 1, John Ternus, the Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering, is set to take the helm as CEO. This year's WWDC is scheduled for June 8, and it is anticipated that a new-generation operating system will be unveiled. Ternus's first significant public appearance after stepping into his new role will be at the autumn iPhone launch event, where Apple is expected to showcase its inaugural foldable iPhone.
