It has come to light that APKPure, an Android app marketplace operating under Huya, was involved in the dissemination of Telegram installation packages that were embedded with backdoor programs. These malicious iterations were characterized by discrepancies such as inaccurate package names and unauthorized signatures. While the Telegram Web version was spared from the backdoor infiltration, it was, however, an outdated edition.
