Historically, updates to the Ultra series have been somewhat incremental. Therefore, a significant redesign of the Ultra 4 would signify the first major overhaul in the series. Consequently, Taiwan Asia Semiconductor stands to gain, as the inclusion of new sensors and a redesign could potentially boost Ultra 4 orders by up to 30% compared to its forerunner. Moreover, the Ultra 4 introduces a hypertension alert function, which leverages the optical heart rate sensor on the back of the device to analyze vascular responses and issues alerts upon detecting any irregularities. This particular feature is currently undergoing review by the FDA.
