Microsoft has confirmed that the 'Low Latency Profile' feature will be rolled out to all Windows 11 users in June 2026. This feature accelerates application launches and system core interface responses, such as the Start menu and search box, by temporarily boosting the processor frequency to its maximum, aiming to enhance system smoothness. As part of the Windows K2 plan, this feature has been detailed in the Release Preview channel update notes and is scheduled to be available as an optional update for manual download by the end of June, with automatic installation planned for the July Patch Tuesday update. Tests show that this feature significantly improves system responsiveness, particularly on low-end hardware, with minimal impact on battery life and temperature.
