Users will have the liberty to freely rearrange the positions of various controls, including the flash, exposure, timer, and resolution settings. Moreover, the app will support independent configuration of these controls based on different shooting modes. Three distinct categories of options—"Basic," "Manual," and "Settings"—will be made available, alongside new assistive tools such as gridlines and a level indicator to aid in composition and alignment.

While the default camera interface will maintain its current layout for ease of use, users will have the option to switch to an advanced customization mode through a bottom tray, providing greater flexibility and control. In addition to these camera app improvements, Siri is set to be integrated into the Dynamic Island design, potentially adopting a standalone app format. This integration will also enable Siri to access a wider array of third-party AI models, enhancing its capabilities and versatility.

Furthermore, Apple has plans to revamp the Image Playground app and the Safari start page, offering a refreshed and more intuitive user experience.
