On April 27, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology unveiled its latest data report. The figures revealed that domestic mobile phone shipments for March 2026 totaled 21.15 million units, marking a 7.1% year-on-year decrease. Notably, 5G mobile phone shipments stood at 19.667 million units, experiencing a 1.3% year-on-year increase and accounting for a substantial 93.0% of the market.
