Apple is slated to introduce a new iteration of the MacBook Neo in 2027. This upcoming model will boast the A19 Pro chip, a direct transplant from the iPhone 17 Pro series, and an enhanced unified memory capacity of 12GB, effectively overcoming the current 8GB memory constraint. The existing MacBook Neo, which made its debut in early March 2026, is powered by the A18 Pro chip (featuring a 5-core GPU). Although the A19 Pro chip is based on the 6-core GPU configuration found in the iPhone 17 Pro, it is anticipated to incorporate a slightly downclocked 5-core GPU, thereby preserving compatibility with the current model.
