Although memory costs do not constitute a major portion of the overall expenses, the harmonious growth of Xiaomi's 'Smart Living for Everyone' ecosystem, coupled with the ongoing trend of premiumization in smartphones, can help cushion the blow to some degree. Xiaomi, he noted, is managing to navigate these turbulent waters fairly effectively. Nevertheless, should cost pressures escalate to an unsustainable level in the future, he did not dismiss the possibility of raising product prices. Lu Weibing also emphasized the importance of monitoring the post-price-hike scenario, foreseeing that it will likely expedite the transformation of the industry's structure, leading to the weeding out of less competitive firms and spurring innovation across the sector.
