SMG Hotel Group has introduced the hospitality industry's inaugural intelligent agent hardware, named "Xiaomei" (shortened to "Xiaomei Lobster" in Chinese), leveraging the innovative "intelligent agent + smart hardware" framework. This groundbreaking product will initially be rolled out across hotels within its portfolio, including Thank U Hotels and Pinrui Hotels, with certain sites anticipated to provide guests with this novel experience as early as the second quarter. Through intuitive voice interactions, guests can effortlessly accomplish tasks such as extending their stay or ordering room service, eliminating the necessity for traditional front desk interactions or mobile app usage. Prior to this, SMG Hotel Group had already forged a partnership with Tencent Cloud to explore cloud-based multi-agent applications, laying the groundwork for this latest advancement.
