IT Home, March 5 - This week, Apple unveiled its latest MacBook Neo, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro models. However, customers purchasing these devices in the UK and EU countries (including Germany, France, etc.) will notice a significant change: chargers are no longer included in the box. Instead, users are required to purchase them separately. This policy, which was first implemented with last year's base 14-inch MacBook Pro, has now been extended to encompass these new models. Should users require a power adapter, they must opt to buy it separately either at the time of checkout or at a later date.
Apple justifies this move by aligning it with its environmental philosophy. The company points out that similar changes have already been made with products like the iPhone and Apple Watch, which no longer come with charging heads. Nevertheless, it's important to note that this alteration is currently limited to the European region. In contrast, new MacBook models released in markets such as Asia and North America will continue to include a charger as part of the standard package.
