Institution: Smartphone SoC Market Shipments to Decline by 7% in 2026, with HiSilicon Expected to Grow Against the Trend by 4%

According to a report by market research firm Counterpoint Research, global smartphone shipments are projected to decline by 6.1% year-on-year in 2026, with smartphone SoC shipments expected to decrease by 7% year-on-year. Among them, Huawei's HiSilicon SoC shipments are forecast to grow by 4.0%, while Google and Samsung are expected to grow by 18.9% and 7.3%, respectively. In contrast, Apple, Qualcomm, and MediaTek are projected to see declines in SoC shipments of 4.4%, 8.8%, and 10.0%, respectively, with Unisoc expected to decline by 14.2%.
