On February 5, Sony Group released its financial results for the third quarter of the 2025 fiscal year, reporting an operating profit of 515 billion yen, a 22% year-on-year increase; net profit reached 377.3 billion yen, up 11% year-on-year. The company raised its full-year operating profit forecast to 1.54 trillion yen, up from the previous estimate of 1.43 trillion yen. Following the release of the financial results, Sony's stock price rose by up to 6% in Tokyo trading.
