Microsoft has recently rolled out the 'Expanded View' feature within the Phone Link app for Windows 11, making it accessible to all eligible users. This innovative functionality empowers users to mirror Android apps onto the Windows 11 desktop in a near-full-screen layout, occupying up to around 90% of the available screen real estate. This enhancement marks a significant leap forward from the previous compact view mode, which confined apps to small windows, and offers a user experience more akin to that of tablets and large-screen devices.

Previously, when streaming Android apps through the Phone Link app, users were greeted with vertically oriented, narrow-width app windows. This layout proved cumbersome for large-screen operation. Now, with a simple upgrade to the specified Phone Link version, users will notice a new icon adjacent to the minimize button in the top-left corner of the app window. Clicking this icon enables users to stretch the window horizontally, thereby expanding the display area for a more immersive experience.

It's worth noting that the degree of adaptation and display quality of this feature may vary across different Android apps. Microsoft is actively refining this functionality to ensure a seamless and enhanced user experience across the board.
