Based on user feedback, it appears that starting from January 2, 2026, Apple has commenced gray testing of "Apple Intelligence and Siri" for select Chinese domestic devices. Following an upgrade to iOS 26.2, users can access relevant options in the settings menu, and new AI application icons, such as "Image Wonderland," have been introduced on the home screen. However, actual testing has revealed that the functionality of the test version is somewhat limited, with certain core features remaining inactive. Apple cautions users against forcibly unlocking AI functions through third-party software, as this may pose significant financial and account security risks.
