The general offices of five key departments, including the Ministry of Commerce, have jointly issued a notice. According to this notice, starting from January 1, 2026, subsidy policies will be rolled out nationwide, adhering to unified categories and standards. Individual consumers will be entitled to subsidies when purchasing six categories of home appliances that meet Grade 1 energy efficiency or water efficiency standards. These categories include refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, air conditioners, water heaters, and computers. Additionally, subsidies will also be available for four types of digital and smart products: mobile phones, tablets, smart watches (or bracelets), and smart glasses. To qualify, the unit price of each product must not exceed 6,000 yuan. The subsidy will be calculated at 15% of the product's final sales price (after all discounts have been deducted), with a cap of one subsidy per product category per individual. Specifically, the maximum subsidy for each home appliance product is set at 1,500 yuan, while for each digital and smart product, it is capped at 500 yuan.
