Come January 1st, 2026, a fresh round of national subsidies will be officially rolled out. Shoppers can now easily apply for and instantly utilize these subsidies on both Taobao and Tmall platforms. Additionally, over 10,000 offline Tmall Youpin stores across the country will join in this initiative simultaneously.

This latest round of national subsidies encompasses 10 key product categories, ranging from traditional favorites like refrigerators and washing machines to the newly included smart glasses. The subsidy rate has been standardized at a generous 15%. For home appliances boasting top-tier energy and water efficiency ratings, the maximum subsidy is capped at 1,500 yuan. Meanwhile, digital and smart gadgets (with individual prices not surpassing 6,000 yuan) are eligible for a maximum subsidy of 500 yuan.

Leading the charge, provinces and cities such as Guangdong and Zhejiang have swiftly implemented these national subsidies on the Taobao and Tmall platforms. To take advantage of these subsidies, consumers simply need to navigate to the 'National Subsidies' section on the Taobao APP homepage or perform a search for 'national subsidies'.
