A number of AirPods Pro 3 users have noted that, even after installing the latest 8B30 firmware update, they continue to encounter problems. Specifically, when the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature is activated, users still hear static-like noise, popping sounds, and sporadic high-frequency squeals, with these issues occurring unpredictably. Furthermore, some users have reported experiencing audio delays as well as mismatches between audio and video when streaming videos. Although Apple has rolled out two firmware updates in an effort to address these concerns, the update logs have made no explicit mention of the noise issue, and the software fixes have not been fully successful. Several users have found that even after obtaining replacement devices, the new AirPods Pro 3 units exhibit the same problems. To date, Apple has yet to offer a clear technical explanation or a definitive solution to these ongoing issues.
