Apple is reportedly set to make a groundbreaking move by incorporating under-display Face ID technology for the inaugural time in the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, both of which are slated for a 2026 release. The front-facing camera will be relocated to a petite aperture in the top-left corner of the display. This innovative design will entirely do away with the pill-shaped 'Dynamic Island' hardware feature that currently adorns the top of existing iPhone models, paving the way for a front view that exudes a more seamless, full-screen aesthetic. Nevertheless, the overall design language of these upcoming models is expected to maintain a resemblance to that of the preceding iPhone 17 Pro series.
