Owing to a scarcity of DRAM memory, Dell has announced its intention to substantially hike prices on a range of its products. Notably, the prices of laptops and personal computers are set to potentially soar by several hundred dollars. Based on the updated price list, devices equipped with 32GB of memory will witness price escalations ranging from $130 to $230. Meanwhile, configurations boasting 128GB of memory could face a maximum price surge of up to $765. This price hike stands as the most significant in Dell's history, and it is widely expected that other computer manufacturers will follow Dell's lead. The prevailing memory shortage is projected to linger until 2027.
