On December 10, market research firm IDC unveiled a report indicating that, propelled by the anticipated launch of Apple's inaugural foldable iPhone and Samsung's innovative tri-foldable phone, the global foldable phone market is poised for explosive growth by 2026. The year-on-year growth rate is projected to soar to as high as 30%. Furthermore, IDC forecasts that global shipments of foldable smartphones will surge to 20.6 million units in 2025, marking a 10% increase on a year-on-year basis.
