The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in collaboration with five other departments, has jointly released the Implementation Plan for Enhancing the Alignment of Supply and Demand in Consumer Goods to Further Stimulate Consumption. The plan outlines a strategy to diversify and expand the supply of interest-driven consumption products, encompassing items like pet accessories, anime merchandise, trendy apparel, and fashionable toys. Importantly, while prioritizing safety, the plan sets forth a systematic approach to broaden the availability of low-altitude consumption experiences, including low-altitude tourism, aerial sports, private flights, and consumer-grade drones.
Moreover, the plan advocates for the expansion of aftermarket automotive services, such as car customization, RV camping, and auto racing, while fostering high-quality growth within the car rental sector. It encourages businesses to cultivate local intellectual property, innovate in the design of cultural and creative products as well as anime-related items, engage in brand licensing, and introduce products licensed under intellectual property agreements.
Additionally, the plan urges traditional malls and supermarkets to incorporate "goods boutiques" or integrated trendy toy stores, thereby enriching the retail landscape and catering to evolving consumer preferences.
