Data from Omdia reveals that in the third quarter of 2025, global TV shipments saw a minor year-on-year decrease, totaling 52.5 million units. The key factor behind this downturn is the swift decline in China, which stands as one of the world's largest TV markets. In the past year, government subsidies have fueled the demand for TVs in the Chinese market. Nevertheless, subsidy funds in certain regions are approaching exhaustion. Moreover, a large number of consumers have already upgraded their TVs. Consequently, China's TV shipments witnessed an 11.2% year-on-year decline.
