On November 11, 2025, Apple Inc. teamed up with the renowned Japanese fashion brand Issey Miyake to introduce a limited-edition knitted accessory—the iPhone Pocket. This innovative product, designed specifically for carrying iPhones, draws inspiration from the 'one-piece cloth' concept and is crafted using cutting-edge 3D seamless knitting technology.
The iPhone Pocket comes in two variants: a short-strap version priced at 1299 yuan, available in eight vibrant color options, and a long-strap version priced at 1899 yuan, offered in three distinct hues. Following its official release on November 14, the product was exclusively available for purchase at the Apple Jing'an retail store in Shanghai and through the official website in mainland China. However, it swiftly flew off the shelves.
Apple's customer service team confirmed that there would be no restocking of this limited-edition item once it was sold out. The market's response to the iPhone Pocket has been mixed. While some consumers have lauded its unique and stylish design, a significant number have voiced concerns over its relatively high price point.
