Recently, China's first electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) flying car factory with an annual capacity of '10,000 units' entered trial production in Guangzhou, marking the first large-scale manufacturing achievement for such products in the low-altitude economy sector. During a site visit, reporters observed AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) lifters precisely transporting aircraft fuselages to workstations—equipment previously used primarily in automotive production. These systems ensure consistent production line rhythm, laying the foundation for scaled manufacturing. According to sources, the factory will gradually commence mass production after completing relevant certifications and airworthiness approvals, achieving a transition from 'small-batch verification' to 'large-scale manufacturing'.
