As reported by Lan Jing News, an offline retailer of Apple products has disclosed that Apple China has recently issued a directive to its authorized dealers. The directive mandates that all offline authorized retailers must refrain from engaging with e-commerce platforms and prohibits them from showcasing, promoting, or selling products on online venues, including e-commerce sites, social media platforms, and live-streaming channels. This ban also encompasses services such as single-item delivery and one-hour delivery options. The leader of an Apple retailer based in Shenzhen mentioned that while similar regulations have been in place before, there is now a renewed emphasis on strict adherence, with the primary goal of preventing any disruptions to the established pricing system.
