The vivo WATCH GT 2 smartwatch has now introduced support for activating eSIM services with both China Mobile and China Unicom, providing users with two distinct operational modes: One Number, Dual Terminals, and Independent Terminal. In the One Number, Dual Terminals mode, the smartwatch can seamlessly operate as a secondary eSIM device, sharing the identical phone number and data plan with the paired smartphone. Conversely, the Independent Terminal mode necessitates the activation of a separate phone number. This highly anticipated smartwatch is set to officially hit the market on October 17. The eSIM-enabled version boasts a robust 595mAh battery, ensuring an impressive battery life of up to 33 days in Bluetooth-only mode. Following the activation of the eSIM function, the frequency of charging will hinge on individual usage patterns, with an estimated need to recharge every 1 to 2 weeks.
