During the third quarter of 2025, the global PC market experienced a notable resurgence, with shipment volumes climbing by 8.1% compared to the same period the previous year. This surge was predominantly fueled by the rising demand for device upgrades, spurred on by the discontinuation of support for Windows 10. Additionally, adjustments in U.S. import tariff policies prompted a reconfiguration of supply chain inventories, further contributing to the market's upswing.
Among the prominent vendors, Lenovo shone brightly, recording an impressive year-on-year growth rate of 17.4% and solidifying its position as the global market leader. HP also witnessed a healthy uptick, with its shipments rising by 10.3% year-on-year, securing the second spot. Dell, however, faced a minor setback, with its shipments dipping slightly by 0.9% year-on-year, landing it in third place. Apple, on the other hand, enjoyed robust growth, with its shipments soaring by 14.9% year-on-year, propelling it to fourth place. ASUS, too, fared well, with its shipments increasing by 14.1% year-on-year, earning it the fifth position.
Collectively, the top five PC vendors worldwide claimed nearly three-quarters of the total market share, with an even greater concentration observed in the high-end product segment. In contrast, small and medium-sized brands struggled to keep pace, with their shipment volumes lagging significantly. As a result, the market landscape is becoming increasingly dominated by a select group of leading vendors.
