During the third quarter of 2025, according to preliminary figures from the International Data Corporation (IDC), the Chinese smartphone market showed signs of overall sluggishness. Total shipments amounted to 68.4 million units, marking a 0.6% year-on-year decline. In this competitive landscape, vivo emerged as the leader, securing a 17.3% market share. Apple, Huawei, and Xiaomi trailed behind, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions, with market shares of 15.8%, 15.2%, and 14.7% respectively. The launch of vivo's latest imaging flagship, the X300 series, has ignited widespread enthusiasm and is projected to further cement its dominant position in the market.
