On a recent episode of the podcast 'The Town', Eddy Cue, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Services, publicly delved into the rebranding of Apple’s TV subscription service for the first time. He announced that Apple TV+ has now officially transitioned to simply Apple TV. According to Cue, with the subscription service having firmly established its identity, the “Plus” suffix is no longer necessary for distinguishing it from other offerings. Additionally, Cue hinted that the actual user base of Apple TV is significantly larger than the 45 million projected by analysts, though he refrained from sharing precise numbers.
