Apple Inc. announced today that over 90% of its production and manufacturing in China now uses renewable energy, thanks to a decade of collaborative efforts by more than a hundred local suppliers. To solidify this achievement and accelerate progress toward its 2030 goal of '100% green manufacturing for its products,' Apple's supply chain companies have jointly established a 'China Renewable Energy Infrastructure Fund' of 1 billion RMB (approximately 150 million USD), aiming to add 1 million megawatt-hours of clean electricity to the national grid by 2030.
