At the 2025 Vivo Developer Conference, Shi Yujian, the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Vivo, disclosed that the company's global user base has surpassed 500 million. During this significant event, Vivo made two major announcements: the launch of OriginOS 6 and its self-developed BlueRiver Operating System 3. Furthermore, the tech giant revealed that an overseas version of OriginOS 6 is set to be released this month, with the potential to replace Funtouch OS. At present, Vivo's business presence extends across more than 60 countries and regions, with overseas sales contributing over 50% to its total revenue. Earlier, Vivo's official overseas account for OriginOS had already hinted at a global launch event scheduled to take place in Shanghai on October 15.
