Xiaomi's head of software, Jin Fan, has recently become a focal point of public attention. Earlier, he found himself embroiled in controversy following criticism from both netizens and users. However, the successful launch of HyperOS 3 has significantly shifted the narrative in his favor. Although Jin Fan's Weibo account, known as 'MIUI Xiaofan,' currently lacks any new posts, it still serves as a verification of his roles, including that of Xiaomi's Product Director.
On September 11th, after a hiatus of three years, Jin Fan broke his silence, sharing that over 700,000 Mi fans have taken part in the internal testing phase of the HyperOS3 Beta version. He also expressed his commitment to continue refining the product. The official rollout of HyperOS 3 to the first batch of existing device models is scheduled to commence on October 15th. Prior to this launch, Xiaomi has invested considerable effort to guarantee a seamless user experience.
Interestingly, last August, Jin Fan's Weibo account similarly showed no updates, sparking rumors about his potential departure from Xiaomi. Nevertheless, Wang Hua from Xiaomi's PR department swiftly dispelled these speculations, clarifying that Jin Fan was fully engrossed in his work.
