It has been reported that the toilet had been in use for three years. Although there had been occasional instances where the water temperature seemed excessively high, no significant malfunctions had occurred prior to this incident. Immediately after the accident, the woman promptly rinsed the affected area with cold water and sought medical assistance. She was subsequently diagnosed with second-degree burns to her perineum. Following communication with the toilet's manufacturer, she reached a settlement agreement. This agreement encompassed a full refund, triple compensation, reimbursement for medical expenses incurred during her absence from work, and compensation for emotional distress. At present, the precise cause of the malfunction remains unconfirmed and is pending a thorough inspection by professional technicians.
