In the latest stable update of visionOS 26, Apple has rolled out two innovative collaborative features for Vision Pro headset users who also own an iPhone. The first of these is the 'Password-Free iPhone Unlock.' This feature leverages advanced authentication technology to automatically recognize the identity of users who have already been authenticated on the Vision Pro headset. As a result, users can simply pick up their iPhone and swipe up to unlock it, eliminating the need for any additional authentication steps. This streamlines the process of switching between multiple devices, making it more seamless and efficient.

The second feature is 'Using iPhone in Immersive Environments.' Apple has ingeniously incorporated a special recognition mechanism into the system, which enables the iPhone to be clearly and prominently displayed within the user's immersive field of view. This means that users can now effortlessly check notifications, reply to messages, or use apps on their iPhone at any time, without having to take off the headset or disrupt their immersive experience. This achievement marks a significant step towards seamless integration between virtual and real-world devices, enhancing the overall user experience.
