On September 8, 2025, Xiaomi Group released an internal announcement, revealing that Wang Teng, an employee in its China Market Department, had been terminated for serious violations. These included leaking confidential company information and engaging in conflicts of interest, all in accordance with the company’s relevant regulations.
Wang Teng took to Weibo to respond, acknowledging his past mistakes and accepting the consequences. He also expressed his gratitude for the opportunities and trust Xiaomi had afforded him over the years.
Currently, Wang Teng has removed all Xiaomi-related content from his Weibo bio. His Douyin account has been switched to private mode, and his Kuaishou account has been banned. As of now, Kuaishou has not provided any explanation regarding the reason for the ban.
