Sunny Optical Technology reported that in August 2025, its smartphone lens shipments soared to 115 million units, representing a 17.0% month-on-month increase. This surge was primarily driven by heightened demand from customers. Meanwhile, automotive lens shipments reached 10.067 million units, reflecting a 19.3% year-on-year uptick, also attributed to increased customer demand. Nevertheless, there was an 11.3% month-on-month decrease in automotive lens shipments, as some products were postponed for shipment to the subsequent month to better accommodate customer requirements.
