On September 8, Sunny Optical Technology (02382.HK) announced that its automotive lens shipments in August increased by 19.3% year-on-year, primarily due to increased customer demand; however, they decreased by 11.3% month-on-month, as some products were delayed for shipment to the following month in response to customer needs. During the same period, the shipment volume of smartphone camera modules reached 42.103 million units, a year-on-year increase of 6.3%; smartphone lens shipments increased by 17.0% month-on-month, also benefiting from increased customer demand.
