With Apple's highly anticipated "Awe-Inspiring" product launch event just under two days away, the engineering prototype of the iPhone 17 Pro Max has made its debut, boasting, for the first time, a back design in orange and a dark hue. While prior leaks primarily centered around individual components, this marks the first instance where the entire physical device has been laid bare for public viewing. The prototype showcases a camera module with a horizontal-strip design and comes in three color options: black, gray, and white. The frame of the device is probably crafted from aluminum alloy, while the rear cover is a blend of glass and aluminum, occupying equal portions. In terms of dimensions, it is approximately 8.7mm thick and weighs around 200g. When it comes to specifications, the iPhone 17 Pro Max stands out as the first model to incorporate a vapor chamber cooling system. The A19 Pro chip inside it delivers a 30% performance enhancement while reducing power consumption by 25%. The battery capacity has been expanded to 5000mAh, potentially offering over 35 hours of battery life on a single charge. The camera module stretches across the entire width of the phone, housing a triple-lens configuration, a LiDAR scanner, and other essential components.
