With just two days to go before Apple's official unveiling of the new iPhone 17 series, a prominent South Korean telecommunications carrier has come under suspicion for prematurely leaking detailed specifications of the upcoming lineup. According to reports, the iPhone 17 series will consist of the standard version, an ultra-slim Air variant, and two Pro models, all powered by the A19 series chip.
The standard iPhone 17 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display, an A19 chip, 8GB of RAM, and a dual-camera setup on the back. The Air version, distinguished by its ultra-slim design measuring just 5.5mm in thickness, will sport a 6.6-inch ProMotion display, an A19 chip (or potentially an A19 Pro chip), 12GB of RAM, and a single-camera configuration. The Pro and Pro Max models will boast 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screens, respectively, and will be equipped with the A19 Pro chip, 12GB of RAM, and a triple-camera setup on the rear, along with battery capacities of 3700mAh and 5000mAh, respectively. All models will support the Qi 2.2 wireless charging standard and will be fitted with a 24-megapixel front-facing camera.
The iPhone 17 series is set to be officially launched at 1 a.m. Beijing time on September 10.
