Graphics card manufacturer XFX has unveiled a batch of performance data, revealing that its custom graphics cards deliver superior performance when outfitted with Samsung's GDDR6 memory, as opposed to those utilizing SK Hynix's memory. Generally, AIBs (Add-in-Board manufacturers) are supplied with GPU cores that come pre-matched with memory. However, mainstream graphics solution providers such as AMD, NVIDIA, and Intel source their memory modules from a variety of suppliers, including Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron. Occasionally, AIB manufacturers may also opt to prioritize a particular memory brand for their products.
