Recently, a drone collision incident shook the Shanghai World Financial Center, where two unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) collided at an altitude exceeding 400 meters. One of the drones subsequently fell, damaging the building's waterproof layer. According to the operators, these drones were unauthorized "black flights," operating outside official channels. Since 2016, the building has witnessed a staggering 95 drone-related incidents. Despite the Little Lujiazui area being designated as a "heightened warning area" in flight software, Shanghai regulations mandate that drone flights must be declared and restricted to an altitude of 120 meters or below. This latest incident is strongly suspected of being illegal.
