In the second quarter of 2025, smartphone shipments in the Middle East and Africa witnessed a year-on-year growth of 3%, marking the second consecutive quarter of expansion. This uptick was fueled by Eid al-Adha sales promotions, favorable regional economic conditions, and the appreciation of local currencies, all of which augmented consumer purchasing power. Chinese brands emerged as the leaders in the region, capturing a dominant 59% market share, as the industry consolidation accelerated and top players further solidified their positions.
