In the second quarter of 2025, Xiaomi Group reclaimed the lead in Southeast Asia's smartphone shipments, securing a 19% market share with 4.7 million units sold, marking an 8% increase year-on-year. This triumph can be largely attributed to the widespread appeal of the Redmi series and the expansion of Xiaomi's channel coverage. However, Lu Weibing, Vice President of Xiaomi Group, acknowledged that the company's high-end models remain a weakness, noting a persistent gap when compared to brands such as Apple and Samsung. Despite this, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra managed to secure the 9th spot in global high-end model sales, showcasing a notable degree of market competitiveness.
