On August 11, Lei Jun, the visionary behind Xiaomi, shared on social media that the YU7 standard edition delivers remarkable performance and an impressive range of up to 835 kilometers, outshining rival Pro or Max models. He humorously remarked that this is far from being a 'stripped-down version' and queried netizens whether the standard edition deserved a rename to Pro or Max. According to the Aiqicha App, Xiaomi Technology has filed for multiple registrations of the 'XIAOMI YU7' trademark, spanning categories including scientific instruments, transportation means, and social services, with some of these trademarks already securing successful registration. Furthermore, in May of this year, Xiaomi also secured the copyright for the artistic works comprising the 'Xiaomi YU7 Characteristic Line'.
