The highly anticipated AI Health Coach will not debut on the Apple Watch platform when watchOS 27 is release.
It was initially speculated that Apple would bring this new AI-powered health feature to the Apple Watch during the iOS 27 release cycle, but that is not the case as Apple would reportedly stick to introducing improvements to already existing features, such as its heart rate tracker.
According to the latest Power On newsletter from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple's watchOS 27, which will join the iOS 27 series' debut later this year, will not yet include the much-awaited "AI Health Coach."
For the longest time, there had been reports about Apple working on the AI Health Coach platform that would be watchOS 27's biggest feature once it is released.
Based on Gurman's report, this feature, along with the other new ones, is still expected to arrive in later cycles of the OS.
What this means is that there are slight delays expected for the new watchOS 27 features coming to the platform, including the AI Health Coach, which was previously called "Project Mulberry."
Gurman shared that watchOS 27 will still bring a lot to users once it is released, and this includes several improvements on existing features and trackers on the Apple Watch.
This includes a much-awaited improvement to the heart rate tracker of the Apple Watch, and reports say that a massive upgrade is expected.
According to 9to5Mac, Gurman said that Apple would introduce "major new capabilities" to the heart rate tracker that could "tie in nicely with Apple's eventual health coach."
