The State Administration for Market Regulation has recently initiated a nationwide, three-month intensive campaign from July to September to address the quality and safety of power banks across all market supervision departments. The objective of this campaign is to comprehensively bolster the oversight of power bank product quality. The initiative outlines five core aspects: reinforcing CCC certification oversight, enhancing quality monitoring and random inspections, comprehensively strengthening supervision and enforcement, increasing the recall of defective products, and reinforcing the primary responsibilities of e-commerce platforms.
